Scherbentanz

drama | 95 min | D 2002

synopsis

Following the successful novel „Scherbentanz“ in spring 2002, Chris Kraus illustrates the inferno of family relations like a drawing on the wall: Impossible to escape, horrible, yet full of love and fun. The art-house drama, which was produced in cooperation with SWR, Arte and BR is an apocalyptic dance on the vulcano of lost illusions, with unpredictable and uncompromising heroes. The strange and tragic family-story with Jürgen Vogel, Nadja Uhl and Margit Carstensen in the leading roles, was received with great enthusiasm from both press and audience at the Munich Film Festival, where it received the award for best script.
